Our Qualifications

Thomas M. Williams,CFP®, Financial Planner

I am an experienced financial planner with over fifteen years experience in the financial services industry.  I received my Certified Financial Planner mark in 1994 from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.  I am also a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Financial Planning is a partnership built on trust and integrity.  As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practioner, I work with individuals, families and business owners to help them understand the importance of developing a strategic, long-term financial plan that helps them achieve their goals and objectives.  I strive to take the mystery out of complex issues so that my clients fully understand all of their options.

As the relationship evolves, my clients and I meet regularly to make sure that, as personal and business situations change, their financial plan remains on-target to meet their goals.

I make sure each of my clients understand each of my recommendations before implementing any specific proposal.

As a Financial Planner, I am also an educator.  I give classes on investment and insurance issues as well as asset management, estate planning and long-term care planning.  The courses are open to the community through programs at Sachem High School, Town of Islip and St. Joseph’s College.

My wife Carolyn and I live in Holtsville, New York with our three children, Katie, Tommy and Brian.  I coach Little League baseball, softball and soccer.  When I’m not on a sports field with my children, I enjoy boating, skiing and golf.
