Thomas M. Williams, CFP®

With over twenty years experience in the financial services industry, Thomas Williams has earned a reputation as a highly respected and experienced financial planner.  Mr. Williams received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® mark in 1994 from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. Additionally, he is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.

 

Financial Planning is a partnership built on trust and integrity.  As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, Mr. Williams works with individuals, families and business owners to help them understand the importance of developing a strategic, long-term financial plan that helps them achieve their goals and objectives. He strives to take the mystery out of complex issues so that his clients fully understand all of their options.

 

As the relationship evolves, Mr. Williams meets regularly with his clients to ensure that as personal and business situations change, their financial plan remains on-target to meet their goals.

 

As a Financial Planner, Mr. Williams recognizes his ability to serve as an educator.  He has given classes on investment and insurance issues as well as asset management, estate planning and long-term care planning.  The courses are open to the community through programs at Sachem High School, Town of Islip and St. Joseph’s College.

 

Thomas currently resides in Holtsville, New York with wife Carolyn and their three children, Katie, Tommy and Brian.  As an active member of his community, he currently coaches Little League baseball, softball and soccer.  When not on a sports field with his children, Thomas enjoys boating, skiing and golf.

 

  Richard K. Colarossi, CFP®, CSEP

The role of an independent financial planner is to help individuals and business owners understand their current situations, define future goals and develop a strategy that is flexible and will enable them to reach their objectives. Richard Colarossi has helped provide people with meaningful solutions to a wide range of financial matters including investments, risk management, tax planning, as well as qualified and non-qualified retirement and benefit plans.

With access to a broad array of services, resources and other professionals, Mr. Colarossi will always work within the best interests of his clients.  His reputation of integrity coupled with an effort to forge long-term bonds with his clients truly makes him a partner in their financial lives.

In addition to over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Richard Colarossi holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation issued by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. This certification holds financial planners to a strict standard of ethics and professional knowledge.

Mr. Colarossi received the Certified Specialist in Estate Planning Designate from the national Institute for Excellence in Professional Education, LLC in Devon, Pennsylvania.  It is awarded to those financial professionals who have demonstrated competency in estate planning and trust taxation.

While attending the College of Old Westbury, State University of New York, Mr. Colarossi received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance and holds a certificate in Financial Planning from the Advanced Program of the School of Continuing Studies at C.W. Post College. Currently, Richard is studying Behavioral Economics and Finance Theory at NYU School of Professional Development.

A career in financial planning also serves as an opportunity to become a financial educator. Mr. Colarossi frequently lectures on retirement and distribution planning. He has appeared as a guest speaker on the television program Dollars & Sense to discuss advanced business planning including buy/sell agreements and pension plans. In addition, Mr. Colarossi has been published in the Wall Street Journal, The Journal of Financial Planning, Financial Planner Magazine, and Investment News.

A long-time resident of the town of Babylon, Richard currently resides there with wife Rosalie and daughter Jessica. He continues to remain active in many community and school organizations.
